It’s been two months without blogging!
Since I was focusing on my research -collect the data in the farm, browsing the literature, consult with lecturer, and another mobile activities- while it was rush hour and I missed writing another topic so bad.
Indeed, research was not that bad because I’ve learned a lot of real problem directly. I met farmer, the businessman, scientist, students, and many type of people. Luckily I am able to interact wit other people without any big troubles within. Working with many people from different background is always interesting for me. It’s kinda practice class before we move out from this comfortable zone into the real world.
I’m just undergraduate student of Animal Science Faculty who still run for my thesis. I simplify my topic, just comparing between the traditional management in farm (they used to do) and my recommendation especially for animal nutrition aspect. Thought I’ve prepared all the things as anticipation for many problems that stand during the research. It was 2 month (more than that actually) of learning process. I did enjoy it very much however technical stuff sometimes get me sick of but I just enjoy (like my Mom said).
Now I have the data, complete literature and many journals, but one sentence from my lecturer : “Your data represent the real condition on farm but I hesitate it will be able to analyzed using statistical method”
Well, it’s a bit confusing or me and I had nothing to say.I felt bad until he said: “Just describe what happen there and propose a good recommendation, you’re gonna contribute for science”
Maybe my research will not as great as the published experiment in journal but I do believe that local farmer can count on me. No matter how wonderful the hypothesis it is, goal of a research depends on its objective and what we will bring after this invention.
